Job Responsibilities • Support the operation in all aspect of the purchasing part.
• Manage strategic sourcing of assigned portfolio-Location.
• Promote and implement strategic sourcing, proactively managing assigned portfolio and supply base with a long term, strategic focus.
• Directly responsible for purchases of assigned portfolio and for the local purchasing operations.
• Develop sourcing strategies for assigned commodities or services utilizing a sophisticated understanding of best sourcing practices, with the goal of sustaining continuous cost reductions and quality, service, and delivery improvements
• Initiate and lead cross-functional efforts to achieve standardization, substitute or eliminate components, and adapt new supplier technologies
• Implement the Global, Regional and Geomarket sourcing strategy across the covered area and operation to achieve better leverage and substantial cost saving
• Locate, select and manage a high-performance supply base for assigned commodities or services. Raise PO in SWPS to the suppliers (international and local).
• Develop supplier measurement tools for monitoring supplier, manage the supplier through the contract period.
• Creates and manages supply agreements
• Develop long-term product forecasts with field operations
